August 29, from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm EPD has joined in with Neighborhood Watch Groups to hold the first ever, citywide Neighborhood Block party. Each neighborhood is represented along with Nextdoor.com members. Come join us in Carson Park as one big family.
There are some Negative Nancy’s who think Eureka is done for, toast, history. They blast you and me when we encourage others to be positive and see the good in Eureka. They say roll up the streets after turning off the lights, the party is over. I disagree! Eureka is a great place, with a bright future. Eureka is what we make it. Like the bumper sticker says, “I like Eureka!” (There will be some there for you)
There will be food, gifts and an opportunity to raise money for needy kids in EPD’s Shop w/a Cop program. For information, email, sowsley@ci.eureka.ca.gov for a flier. Pass them out and let’s have some fun…in this amazing city. Celebrate, because…Eureka we are One!
